The basic performance parameters were found quickly:
- 0-60 in a bit below six seconds, assuming I delay my 1-2 shift past 60mph.
- Using a 0in rollout (which equates to a deep stage, giving the fastest reaction time but slowest ET), the quarter mile time is about 14.5 seconds at 98mph.
- The power peak occurs at about 6200rpm and the torque peak is at 5000rpm, so since most shifts drop about 2000rpm that means that it's in my best interest to shift right next to the redline to maximize power and minimize RPM (and torque) drop.
- The launches were between 2000rpm and 2500rpm, but the highest of the three also netted the slowest 0-60 time due to too much wheelspin. Keeping the RPMs to 2000-2200 should be optimal.
Not bad for a familiarization run! More info to come...
